Aloha!!

January was a crazy month around the Keeney house.  I was a busy girl!! Not only did I have a work meeting in Las Vegas, but I followed that up with a work trip to New York City the next week.  Both trips were fun and productive, but the highlight of the month was definitely our fun-filled, family vacation to Hawaii!!

This was Austin's family's second trip to Hawaii, but the first time the whole family had gone to Maui.  I had never been before and was so excited. And after a week on Maui, I can't wait to go back.  It's incredible.

We spent the week at the Westin in Kaanapali.  It was a great hotel with the coolest lobby ever!!  Check out the indoor/outdoor lagoon complete with Flamingos! Sweet!

We spent most mornings being active and exploring everything Maui had to offer.  We went for early morning runs on the beach, drove along the coast and explored the countryside and even went whale watching (twice!!).  Most afternoons were spent lounging on the beach or hanging by the pool.  Speaking of the pool...I disovered my favorite new fruity cocktail...the Lava Flow! Happiness in a cup. (calories don't count on vacation, right?!) Here are some of the highlights...
